Earth as witness. Nature as process.

We spend so much of our lives rushing past beauty. This group is an invitation to pause. Each month, we will gather outdoors for a guided nature walk followed by reflective art making inspired by the environment around us. The focus is not on artistic skill or creating something polished, but on creativity as process, or a way of noticing, grounding, celebrating, and reconnecting.

Our time together will include:

Arrival & Grounding

  • Check-in
  • Breath-work or mindfulness prompt
  • Introduction to the monthly theme

Guided nature walk

  • Slow observational walk
  • Sensory noticing prompts
  • Reflection invitations
  • Gathering inspiration from the environment

outdoor art-making

  • Reflective and process-based creative exploration

Closing reflection

  • Optional sharing
  • Group reflection prompt
  • Intention for the month ahead

Kadi Miller

Kadi is completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy at the University of Indianapolis. Before entering the counseling field, she worked in art education. Art making and time in nature continue to shape how she understands healing, growth, and connection. Kadi sees counseling as a space where people can feel seen and gently interact with their stories.

More about your host, Kadi! Kadi loves drawing, painting, and flower arranging; and she love to read and collect books. She has two cats named Lucy & Charlotte.
