FULL MOON RELEASE | Write it down. Let it go.
Friday August 28th from 7:30-9 p.m.
Pisces Full Moon Release: A night of journaling, feeling, and letting go under the night sky.
What is a full moon release exactly?
It's not therapy. It's not a support group. It's not going to ask you to share your trauma with a stranger named Kevin.
The Pisces Full Moon (and partial lunar eclipse) on August 28th might be a time when emotions and sensitivity culminate. Pisces is a water sign, so this time could bring some big feelings but also create space for imagination and creativity. Together we will use this astrological event as an opportunity to write out our feelings, insecurities, and fears and release what’s no longer serving us to make room for what does.
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
Is this event for me?
This full moon release is for:
Young adults figuring it out
Mothers who need a minute to themselves
BIPOC, queer and neurodivergent folx looking for space
Couples who want a different kind of together-time
Anyone who saw "lunar eclipse" and felt something
What to expect?
Arrive & settle in — grab your journal, find your spot under the moon.
A little context — what's going on with this Pisces Full Moon and why it hits different.
Write it out — feelings, fears, insecurities, the stuff you've outgrown. Journals provided.
Release it — a simple, symbolic close to send it off, let it go, watch it float away.
Linger if you want — stick around, chat, or slip out quietly. No pressure either way. Light refreshments provided.
Limited to 12 spots.
Kellie Ramdeen
My name is Kellie and I’m a holistic, psychodynamic therapist at Mind Body Nature Counseling. I believe the full moon is a great time to feel, process emotions, and release any heaviness.
In my work as a therapist, I enjoy working with girls, women, and queer folks ages 11 and up, and I welcome individuals and couples of all backgrounds. I’m committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space for members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I enjoy bringing in tools that support the whole person, such as play therapy, art prompts, somatic practices, mindfulness, nature-based sessions, and parts exploration.
In my personal life, I’m a cat mom who loves reading, cooking, hiking, and astrology. I’m new to Indianapolis and excited to connect with the community during this full moon.
